Keelvar

Keelvar has signed an exclusive licence agreement with UCC for cutting-edge software that promises to revolutionise public procurement practice in Ireland and other EU countries. The software relies upon sophisticated algorithms for optimising the allocation of multiple lots in large tenders among competing suppliers. A new form of tendering is supported that captures synergies that bidders may wish to communicate to the purchaser. For example, turnover based discounts are supported among other improvements in risk management for bidders. This can allow both suppliers and purchasing bodies to become more economically efficient and capitalise on synergies across items in large tenders. Keelvar is very optimisitic about the future for intelligent procurement in Ireland and expects to make some significant announcements in the coming weeks. New positions will be advertised in relation to upcoming projects connected to this successful licence agreement.
