Keelvar Systems, technology providers for optimisation in procurment and energy trading, today announced the appointment of Dr. Alan Holland as CEO. As a Founder and current Chief Technology Officer, he is well place to ensure continuity for all responsibilities previously undertaken by former CEO, David Barrett. Dr. Holland has a PhD in Computer Science from University College Cork and specialises in electronic commerce. He will oversee the transition of technology development projects to commercial fruition and guide an imminent investment process to accelerate Keelvar's growth trajectory. "Alan has a great understanding of how cutting edge technology can be adopted to provide an exceptional return on investment for prospective customers. His drive and ambtion to position Keelvar as a major force in the software industry will undoubtedly pay dividends" said David Barrett, outgoing CEO of Keelvar Systems.
